Existing Orders


Once you have completed the checkout process on our website, which will generate an automatic email with your order details, this will be accepted by us as the order that you have placed.

We cannot make adjustments to online orders that we receive, including changing the pricing, discounts, coupons or shipping costs.

However, if your order has not been shipped and is still "Pending," and you need to make an urgent change, please call us by phone during regular working hours.

Please note that past orders cannot be combined with new online orders.


Order Cancellations


If you decide to cancel all or part of your online order before it is prepared for shipment, you will be subject to a 6% fee to cover our cost of processing and refunding. This will be deducted from the amount that you purchased.

This applies no matter how quickly the order is placed or cancelled - even when requesting immediately after you placed the order.

All time-dated or seasonal products are final sale and cannot be refunded or cancelled.


Shipping


At this time, In-Stock orders (excluding Pre-Orders or temporarily out of stock items) are generally shipped within a period of one to six business days.

Business days are defined as Monday to Friday, excluding holidays; orders are processed during normal business hours.

Temporarily out-of-stock products are typically shipped within a period of two to five weeks, and special order items, or made-on-demand items, are usually shipped within a period of five to eight weeks or longer, depending on availability.

Please note that Pre-Order products (new release or new reprint) will be sent after they have been printed and have arrived in stock. We may not always have an expected delivery time available for new release or new reprint Pre-Orders, as it will depend on the publisher's release dates.

Occasionally there are postal service or courier backlogs, and as a result we cannot currently guarantee specific delivery times, unless you select UPS Express Saver or UPS Express (a street address will be needed). Using your tracking number, you can follow the progress on route to your shipping destination.

All time-dated or seasonal products are final sale, and these and all other items cannot be refunded if they do not arrive on time for some specific occasion, holiday, or event.

Please contact us if you have any questions about the expected delivery date of your order.

Note for Canadian and American customers: If your address is accidentally entered with a slight typo at checkout, or if it is not found through the internal mailing system, instead of being able to choose a shipping price amongst different options, you may see only an "Estimated Shipping Rate" which is often higher than the normal costs. When this happens, if there is an overcharge you will be refunded the difference for the Ground Shipping rate, and notified through email.


Important Information for International Orders


We ship worldwide (outside of Canada and the United States), to any region that accepts international trade. Unfortunately, some countries are currently not allowing international mail. If we cannot ship your order, you will receive a full refund.

Sunrise Marian charges only the outgoing shipping rate as indicated by the postal service or courier. We do not bill the person placing the order with their country's taxes or customs duty fees.

Sunrise Marian is not responsible for, and has no knowledge of, whatever fees the package(s) may incur upon arrival. We also cannot provide you with customs duties/taxes receipts for your tax purposes.

The Ship-To Recipient is required to provide timely payment of any applicable customs duty/taxes directly to the postal service or courier upon receiving notification of their order's availability for pick-up or delivery in their country of destination.

Please arrange pick-up or delivery and any necessary payments with the postal service/courier as soon as you receive a notice that the package is available locally, because if you miss the stated deadline, the parcel will be returned to us. If the parcel is returned, we will consider it a cancelled order, and we will deduct the cost of the shipping to the intended recipient, and the return shipping fees to us, plus a 6% cancellation fee, from the original amount of the order. If there is nothing left over after these deductions, no refund will be eligible.

If you are sending a gift to someone in a different country, please be advised that the acceptance of this gift will likely not be free for them, as they will have to pay any applicable duties/taxes to their postal service/courier for customs clearance. This means they must be aware of and consent to the reception of such a gift. We will reach out to you about this matter. If you cannot provide assurance that the recipient will be willing to pay these as-yet-unknown fees, we will have to send the package directly to you/the buyer (with adjusted shipping rates), instead of internationally.

Please note: once your order leaves our location and is processed by the courier or is in the postal service, we cannot guarantee the date of when the package may arrive at your destination.

Return Policy


Customers within the U.S. and Canada may return the following items to Sunrise Marian, for any reason, within 30 days of delivery of your shipment, for a refund minus a 15% restocking fee, or a full credit on your account:

• Any book, textbook, workbook or study in its original condition
• Any unopened (still in its plastic wrap) CD, DVD, Blu-ray or other electronic products
• Unused devotional materials, houseware, or gifts (except the exclusions as noted below under Terms).

We can only process returns and refunds for items purchased through Sunrise Marian.

TERMS:

• ALL CLOTHING ITEMS, APPAREL, JEWELRY & ACCESSORIES ARE FINAL SALE.
• ALL TIME-STAMPED/DATED ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE (i.e., any product featuring a specific year or dates).
• ALL ARTWORK AND CANVAS PRINTS ARE FINAL SALE.
• ALL BEVERAGES, FOOD OR NATURAL HEALTH ITEMS AND SOAP ARE FINAL SALE.

• Qualifying eligible items being returned must be in new and unused and resalable condition, and in the original packaging.
• The items should be returned using a trackable shipping method.
• We are not able to refund the cost of shipping to or from your receiving address.

Please note that we cannot accept the return of time-stamped/dated items, consumables (such as food, beverages, natural health supplements & soap), artwork and canvas prints, clothing, apparel, jewelry, accessories, or any used items, opened electronic products, or items returned more than 30 days past delivery.


Lost or Missing Parcels


Please note that when UPS Standard orders are shipped, the tracking number may only say "Label Created" until the parcel moves closer to your destination. In some cases, it can take up to 10-14 days to see a new scan on the parcel. This does not mean it was lost, only that it is still moving in transit.

As a result, we are unable to report, investigate, replace or refund any UPS Standard package as "lost or missing" unless at least 14 days have passed with no update on the tracking number. On the 15th day of waiting, you may reach out to us and we will investigate and resolve the issue.

The above 14-day policy does not apply to orders shipped via Canada Post or USPS. Postal mail may sometimes have slower processing times, and in some cases, you may not see a tracking update for several weeks. If it has been a month and there is no update on your Canada Post or USPS tracking, please reach out us to us and we will investigate. Once we receive a response from the carrier, we will resolve the issue.

International shipments sent via Xpresspost or Tracked Packet International may also have delays in moving through the system. In most cases, your parcel is not missing, and the status will be updated once your local post office has received it. If, however, after a period of time you have reason to believe that it may have been lost, please contact us and we will launch an investigation.

For orders shipped to Canada and the United States, UPS Express and UPS Express Saver are the quickest ways to receive your package with guaranteed delivery times once it leaves our facility.

For quick International deliveries, use UPS Worldwide Express, and UPS Worldwide Express Saver.

Replacement of Damaged or Defective Items


If you received a defective item that was sold by Sunrise Marian and need to replace it with the same product, please contact us within 30 days of receiving the order to request a replacement, and submit a photo of your order. On request, we will also be glad to exchange the damaged merchandise for available stock in-store, or on our website, of equal or lesser value.

Issues with orders from countries other than the United States and Canada will be resolved on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us for further information.
