BLESSED IS THE NATION - ROSARY FOR AMERICA

In 1846, the bishops of the United States adopted a decree by which they chose the Blessed Virgin Mary, conceived without sin, as Patroness of the United States. For more than 150 years, Catholics in America have placed their lives, hopes, dreams and concerns under the special patronage of the Mother of God.

This unique metal rosary from Ghirelli, has a special crucifix with red and blue enamel stars and stripes on the front and "ONE NATION UNDER GOD" on the back. On the center is an image of Our Lady on a map of the United States of America with Psalm 33:12 on the back that reads:

Blessed is the Nation whose God is the Lord.

Each of the 50 Hail Mary beads has a different state's individual abbreviation on it.
