There Be Dragons DVD

There Be Dragons is an epic action-adventure romance set during the Spanish Civil War. The plot follows the lives of two young men, Josemaria Escriva (Charlie Cox) and Manolo Torres (Wes Bentley), childhood friends who are divided by the political turbulence of pre-war Spain and end up on opposing sides when war breaks out. Josemaria chooses peace and becomes a priest, working to spread reconciliation through the Opus Dei organisation (work of God).

Manolo chooses war and becomes a fascist spy. He becomes obsessed with a beautiful Hungarian revolutionary, Ildiko, who has joined the militia in pursuit of passion and purpose. But when Ildiko rejects him in favour of the brave militia leader Oriol, Manolo's jealousy drives him to betray him. As personal and national wars rage, the lives of the protagonists collide, revealing their greatest difficulties via the tragic decisions they make. Each will fight to find forgiveness's power over the forces that are pulling their lives and friendship apart.
