The renowned Boys of Saint Paul's Choir School releases its third record in ten years, which includes works by composer James Kennerley and Gabriel Fauré, backed by the Boston Sinfonietta. The boys' distinctive treble is heard in a performance of Gabriel Fauré's Requiem, Op. 48, which features beautiful arrangements. Additionally, a brand-new orchestration of Faure's Cantique de Jean Racine is recorded for the first time. This magnificent album, which was made in the opulent acoustics of Saint Paul's Church, is embellished throughout with the ideal blend of original pieces that sit gracefully next to the well-known and cherished works of Fauré.
