The classic story of a little orphan girl in the Swiss Alps, with beautiful cover illustrations by Anna Bond, the artist behind the world-renowned stationery brand Rifle Paper Co.
Heidi, a five-year-old orphan, is brought to live with her grandfather in the Alps mountains. Everyone in the community is apprehensive over him, but Heidi finds him fascinating with his shaggy beard and bushy grey brows. She enjoys her life in the highlands, playing in the sun, growing up amongst the goats and birds. But one dreadful day, Heidi is picked up by her aunt and forced to live with strangers, a family in a city, where she is taught how to become a proper member of society. Heidi feels anxious over being apart from her grandfather and doesn't know how to fit in. Will she be able to find her way back up the mountain, where she belongs?
