From his wounds at Pamplona (1521) through his conversion, university studies, and travel to Rome to throw his followers and himself at the disposal of the Pope, Ignatius' autobiography covers eighteen crucial years of this saint's 65-year existence. These vital years illustrate the amazing transformation and spiritual development of a great saint's soul, as well as the circumstances that contributed to that shift in his life.

This outstanding work deserves to have a long life.
