This Ignatius Bible “Revised Standard Version - Second Edition” was recommended by Jeff Cavens regarding his Great Adventure Bible Journey Course which I love.
It is a beautiful Bible of which I have purchased 6 copies and given 1 each to my wife and my 3 adult children and 2 to myself.
One I used to read for the second time the entire Bible in a year and have written in and highlighted many, many verses and chapters.
The copy of it that I am now reading very slowly without any markings or highlighting or notes in it to absorb GOD’s Living Word to become more intimate with My Father in Heaven.
I have also bought the Index tabs for all of the bibles which enables easy referencing and identification when one reads it. If you do not index your Bible you will find reading it very overwhelming.

OK to begin with... the content is great. I guess that's the unsurprising part. Beyond being the word of God, the translation is excellent. I couldn't recommend any other translation as highly as the RSV Catholic Edition, 2nd edition. If you want accuracy... this is it! Secondly, the Bible itself is unbelievably compact and it feels great in your hands. This last point might not seem so important, but if you like the feel of it - bottom line - you're going to pick it up and read it. My only wish was that it was 11 point as opposed to 9 point. I'm in my mid-50s and I have to carry my strongest readers to read it. Anyway, 5 stars.
