Our Lady of Good Success - Prophecies for Our Times

This is a story for our times: It is a story of the life of a Conceptionist sister from Quito (Ecuador) in the 17th century who offered her sufferings and life for the crisis in the Church she was given to see that would occur in the 20th century. Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres (1563-1635) was favored with many singular gifts from heaven and received many prophecies of the future, especially of the 20th century. This is only a brief summary of her extraordinary life and some of the prophecies revealed to her that concern our own times and that harmonize perfectly with the better-known prophecies that Our Lady made at Fatima in 1917.

It is the story of Our Lady of Good Success, who appeared to Mother Mariana under this invocation and commanded that a statue be made. In her right hand, she carried a crosier as Abbess of the convent and Queen of Heaven and Earth. In her left arm, she carried her Divine Son so that "all will know that I am merciful and understanding. Let them come to me for I will lead them to Him." This marvelous statue was completed miraculously by the Archangels Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael.

Mother Mariana had begged the Most Holy Virgin that her name be unknown. The Mother of God assured her faithful daughter that only after three centuries of mysterious silence, the truth of the apparitions would become known - in the 20th century. As Queen and Mother of a then-suffering world and Church, Our Lady promised that she would give her Good Success to those who had recourse to her under this invocation.
