The Gospel of Matthew for Little Ones

Sara Meyer experienced a strong call to littleness and the joy of the Gospel in the face of the widespread adult perplexity, disagreement, and animosity during the COVID-19 pandemic. She suggested making Gospel of Matthew for Little Ones to Allison Hsu. Their interdisciplinary effort has been truly good news! There are currently a large number of children's bibles and individual bible tales available for families and teachers to pick from, but there is no treatment of the specific Gospels for young Catholics to grow closer to Christ, the very Word to whom all of God's teachings point (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 102). The Gospel of Matthew for Young Children fills this important gap in a format that is inviting: a colourful artwork on the left, three stanzas on the right, and chapter notations in the right margin to inspire further exploration of the Good News.
