Fast, Pray, Give: Making the Most of Lent A Six-Week Guide DVD

Fast, Pray, Give will help deepen the experience of Lent. This video resource, for use in group settings, walks viewers through the days of preparation for the joy of Easter. Father Greg Friedman, O.F.M., and Father Thomas Richstatter, O.F.M., offer an overview of Lent and explore how the foundational practices of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving lead Catholics to an ongoing conversion in their hearts that extends to the world around them.

The program can be utilized for use in schools and parishes, including RCIA and Confirmation classes, adult and teen retreats, faith-formation small groups, and staff and ministry enrichment. As an accompaniment to the book, Fast, Pray, Give, the DVD highlights key Lenten concepts such as baptism, wilderness and mountaintop experiences, living water, and charity and stewardship. Each session contains discussion and reflection questions, references from the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and inspiration from saints. Fast, Pray, Give provides a multimedia tool to renew and revive the meaning and practice of Lent.
