I really like this book and CD set which I often play when driving with my kids. I like them to have the opportunity to know the people of the bible in a language that is easier for them to understand. One issue i have with this book is it's departure from the biblical teaching of creation which is clearly 7 24-hour periods. This book presents the opinion that each "day" was longer than 24 hours and it was not. At a time when modernists are looking for every opportunity to distance people from God this one error really bothers me. If I had known ahead of time it was there I may not have purchased it, but it's easy enough to skip over. Other than that, the stories are great so far.
