Thérèse of Lisieux is the best known, most popular French saint in the world, but she is also the most mysterious.

With over 150 stunning photographs and plentiful sidebars on history, geography, and themes, this gorgeous book helps us enter into the universe of “the greatest saint of modern times” to discover the simplicity of her daily life and of her relationships, both human and spiritual.

It invites us to a personal encounter with Thérèse, who once wrote, “I am your sister, your friend; I will always watch over you.” It invites us also to discover her appealing spirituality of “the little way”. Patroness of missions, Doctor of the Church, this Carmelite sister who died at twenty-four has not ceased to surprise us and to spread her powerful message love and trust across the world.

Her whole life of can be encapsulated in the poem “Living on Love”: a passionate love of Christ lived out in the everyday, in the joys and trials of life, in inner sufferings and outer sufferings. Living on love is a spiritual program for life, but to live it requires a special grace for which we must ask, especially through the intercession of the “Little Thérèse”.

Among the many books on her, this is a unique, very beautiful and powerful work that will inspire readers to desire to imitate St. Thérèse in “living on love”.

Gorgeous!
(San Francisco, California) | September 5th, 2021
This is the most beautiful book I've ever seen! I have loved St. Thérése since I was a little girl in Catholic school and first learned about her. (I am now an old lady, 77). I took her as my patron saint for Confirmation years ago. The book is SO informative and so beautifully compiled, with many precious pictures. I hope to pass it on to my daughter (who also has St. Thérése as her Confirmation saint), when I'm gone. Thank you for a job well done. E.
