This Student Workbook is a supplement to The History of the Church: Semester Edition, and it helps students comprehend how God sent the Holy Spirit to act through the Church and her members through captivating and relevant exercises. Students recall and apply topics from the textbook to their own life by using a combination of multiple choice, fill in the blank, and short answer questions.
Students can turn in their work using the perforated sheets in this Student Workbook. It also contains a compilation of popular Catholic prayers and devotions.
Midwest Theological Forum's Didache Semester Series is a collection of high school textbooks, teacher's manuals, and student workbooks. Each title is for a single academic semester. These titles were created in response to the USCCB Subcommittee on the Catechism's 2007 curricular framework in order to aid in the development of religious education textbooks for Catholic high schools.
The textbook, The History of the Church: Semester Edition, belongs to the curriculum framework's Elective B: History of the Catholic Church.
The textbook (available separately) is an abridged form of the Didache Complete Course Series publication of the same name. The Archdiocese of Chicago has given it ecclesiastical permission, and the USCCB Subcommittee on the Catechism has given it conformity with the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
