Envision: Theology of the Body for Middle School, Leader's Guide (Includes Online Leader’s Access)

All hearts, especially the hearts of young people, are hungry for God’s truth about love and identity. The Theology of the Body has reinvigorated the way Catholics understand and communicate our inherent identity, dignity, and purpose as men and women made in the image and likeness of God.  

Envision: Theology of the Body for Middle School was designed to aid young people in grades 6-8 to find answers to tough questions about their bodies, their identity, and their sexuality. Reflecting the pedagogical approach of St. John Paul II’s revolutionary teaching, the program cuts through the noise of today’s culture and inspires young people to envision a life of authentic freedom and love. 

Envision presents the core truths of Theology of the Body with three key questions:

- Who am I?

- Where am I going? 

- How do I get there? 

Authentic answers to these questions address many of the areas young people struggle with today, including body image, use of technology, pressure to date, sin and reconciliation, emotional vulnerability, bullying, weekend culture, and, of course, questions about what it means to love as God loves. 

The Leader’s Guide gives your catechists and group leaders everything they need to share the program with your students. The entire content of the Student Workbook is included in the Leader’s Guide, as well as a program overview,  classroom activities, session overviews, lesson objectives, tough topic discussion tips, case studies for real world application of concepts, and more. The program has been designed specifically as a catechetical program to fit perfectly into Catholic schools, youth ministry, CCD, and homeschooling settings.
