After creating the Spiritual Way series, Mother Bolton created a series meant to prepare children for that series, as well as for First Confession and First Communion.  This series, called “A Little Child’s First Communion” was carefully based on Psychological principles as well as Catholic Doctrine.  This manual, written to accompany that series, seeks to provide a broad spectrum of material on which the teacher may rely to enrich his or her own knowledge and understanding of the subject. Drawing from the Catechism, Scripture and the Church Fathers, this book provides an ample basis for the catechist in this crucial task.
