The Companion presents daily content for each episode of the podcast, including:
- The proprietary Bible in a Year Reading Plan
- Reflect on the Word, where readers will find a summary of the key points and highlights of Fr. Mike’s commentary on the daily readings
- Take It to Prayer, where Catholics will be able to pray the daily prayer alongside Fr. Mike and the rest of the BIY community

We use this companion every single day. It makes it so clear. First time through we didn't use it. Second time through we couldn't imagine doing without it. We spent $10 and had it bound in a coil format and that is truly very convenient. Someone recommended that on the Facebook site. I am really glad that this site ships to Canada because I've struggled with the Ascension website delivering to me.
