The CCO Faith Study series is a collection of five thematic studies that simply and clearly explain the truths of the faith and practically outline important principles for Catholic living. The studies begin with Discovery, followed by Source, Growth, Trust, and Commission. They received ecclesiastical approval from Most Reverend Terrence Prendergast, SJ (Archbishop of Ottawa, Canada). Each lesson integrates Scripture and Church teachings in its small group discussions.
The strength of these faith studies is in their didactic and intentionality. Their purpose is to bring people to a personal encounter with Jesus Christ, leading to a conversion which orients their entire life to God. They then, step-by-step, guide the participants to grow in their relationship with God and to live out their deepest identity as missionary disciples. Another strength of the faith studies is that they are meant to equip leaders. The leader guide content is comprehensive, easy to understand share and offers practical suggestions on how to lead. They have equipped thousands of people to be able to lead others back to Jesus and to disciple them in Christian growth. They are being used on university campuses as well as in parishes throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, Uganda and other countries.
