Giving the gift of the Catholic Faith is your most important legacy as a parent. Indeed, the fate of your children’s souls likely depends on the formation you will give them. Yet we as parents often struggle to understand the Catholic Faith ourselves, much less know how to pass it on to our children!

The Family of Faith Program is designed to take the hassle and frustration out of family catechesis, providing you with a complete and easy-to-use guide for educating your children about Church teachings and the Catholic way of life.

In this Parent’s Guide, you’ll be guided through the first pillar of the Catechism, which focuses on the Creed. You’ll learn how God reveals himself to man, his divine plan for us, and how we as Catholics celebrate and live out our Faith. We provide you with talking points to help you convey these teachings to your children, as well as family activities and craft projects that will deepen among your children a love for Christ and His Church.

You’ll also learn simple ways you can begin integrating the Church’s liturgical seasons such as Lent and Advent into the life of your home, helping to transform your family into a vibrant example of Catholic living.

The Children’s Activity Book features age-appropriate readings, games, coloring pages, and countless other activities that are proven to engage and entertain children all while instilling in them the richness and beauty of Catholicism, leading them to a profound encounter with Christ.

How it Works. The Family of Faith Program is a four-year program that covers one pillar of the Catechism per year. The Parent’s Guide and Children’s Activity Book are available in four volumes – one for each of the four years. Each volume is organized by month, and includes lessons for nine months of the year, beginning in September and ending in May. In Volume One we explore the Creed and what we believe as Catholics. Subsequent volumes, which will be available in Summer 2017, will cover the remaining three sections of the Catechism, focusing on the sacraments, our life in Christ, and prayer. This Home-Study Kit includes a Parent’s Guide, as well as two Children’s Activity Books and 8 30-minute lectures available on DVD. In the eight 30-minute video presentations included here, Dr. Douglas Bushman, a father of six and veteran catechist, explores how God reveals himself to man, His divine plan for us, and how Catholics celebrate and live out our Faith.
