Phonics 2 for Young Catholics. In this workbook students will learn reading through systematic phonics. They will memorize sound and symbol relationships, learn letter and sounds step by step, and listen to Catholic poetry. The phonics methods used in this text are based on Sister Monica Foltzer's phonics approach, as in her Professor Phonics books. It builds upon methods taught in previous grades and leads to proficiency in reading skills. It further integrates the Catholic Faith in all lessons. 

The Appendices contain phonics rules and picture identification keys.
