Spelling 3 for Young Catholics (2nd Ed.)

The learner listens to the sounds in a word and then recognises the letters of the alphabet that form the sound in Spelling 3 for Young Catholics. He learns to spell words that have short vowel sounds. Long vowel sounds, vowel digraphs, and vowel sounds generated by a variety of vowel and consonant pairings are all examples of vowel sounds. He also learns the sounds and spellings of popular suffixes. 

Each lesson includes a list of fifteen words as well as a difficult bonus word. A range of exercises help to reinforce the spelling of the words on the list. There are phrases and sentences in each lesson of Spelling 3 for Young Catholics that include the spelling list words while teaching healthy and Catholic values.
