Also called the “Three Minute Drill”, Trinity Minutes is a way to begin a period of prayer by aligning one’s soul with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Measuring just 2.5″x4″ the leaflet fits easily in the pocket, making it ideal to hand out after Mass or at events.
The method:
- Praise the Father for sixty seconds, then thank Him for one thing.
- Praise the Son for sixty seconds, then ask forgiveness for one thing.
- Praise the Holy Spirit for sixty seconds, then resolve to do one thing.
From the brochure: “A solid way to begin your prayer is to re-orient yourself to the Trinity. God is God and you are not! Take a few moments to posture yourself before the creator of the universe and the savior of your soul.”
In memoriam of Fr. Mark Link, SJ, who popularized this method of prayer.
